Bewabic State Park will host a "GO-Get Outdoors" Explore the Outdoors
event on Saturday, June 7, beginning at 12 p.m.
This event is designed to encourage people of all ages and
backgrounds to get outdoors and try something new. Activities are
planned to introduce visitors to new outdoor experiences such as
orienteering and the basics of camping. There will also be a guided
hike, a muskie fishing demonstration, a nature scavenger hunt, and
more "fishing in the parks."
June 7 and 8 is Free Fishing Weekend across Michigan. This event
will give visitors a chance to try their hand at fishing without
having to purchase a fishing license.
