Public input wanted on plans for Indian River County Shooting Range

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking public input on an updated draft management plan for the Indian River County Shooting Range near Vero Beach. The meeting is May 19 from 6:30-9 p.m., in the Commission chambers at the Indian River County Administration Complex, 1801 27th St., Building A.

A management plan advisory group has contributed input to the draft plan, but the FWC would like comments from the interested public as well.

The advisory group represents a variety of stakeholders within the community and includes private landowners, developers, private conservation organizations, elected officials and business owners.

The Indian River County Shooting Range opened in 2001 and is located at 10455 102nd Terrace, Sebastian.
