Ask the Game and Fish

Q. How do I get my name changed on my lifetime license?

A.  Name changes are usually the result of marriage, divorce or adoption.  In the event a name is legally changed, the person requesting the change needs to send a copy (not original) of the legal document effecting that change to the Game and Fish headquarters in Cheyenne. The Game and Fish will then issue a new lifetime license or conservation stamp bearing the new name. There is no fee for replacement lifetime licenses with legal name changes.
