Lake management plans for 13 area lakes available for public review

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Brainerd Area Fisheries announces that fisheries lake management plans, prepared for 13 lakes, are available for public comment.

Formal Fisheries Lake Management Plan drafts have been prepared for: Lawrence, Leavitt, and Big Thunder lakes in Cass County; Roosevelt Lake in Cass and Crow Wing counties; Camp, Crooked, Gladstone, Goodrich, Hanks, North Long, Portage, Ross and Stark lakes in Crow Wing County.

These draft plans are available for review and comment, at the DNR Brainerd Area Fisheries Office at 1601 Minnesota Drive, Brainerd, MN, 56401. The comment period will be open from through March 14.
