| Largemouth Bass: Fair, casting Carolina-rigged worms and Hopkins, Berry or flexing spoons. | |
| Trout: Fair, fishing early morning using minnows and herring 30 feet and up. Also trolling early morning and during the day with Sutton spoons and Bad Creek spoons in water 40 feet and up. | |
| Smallmouth Bass: Fair, casting brown hair jigs or drifting live bait on rocky points and rocky banks. | |
| Crappie: Slow. Try small minnows and jigs around brush piles. | |
| Catfish: Fair, using nightcrawlers or cut bait on bottom, night is best. | |
| Bream: Slow, using popping bugs and dug worms around banks and brush. Lake levels are up and still rising. | |

Lake Keowee:
| Largemouth Bass: Good, doodling plastic worms, jigging spoons and drop-shotting lures on the bottom 30 to 50 feet down. | |
| Crappie: Slow. Try small minnows and jigs 28-30 feet in the brush. | |
| Catfish: Slow Try nightcrawlers and cut bait on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Slow. Try red-worms around brush piles and around stumps. |
Lake Hartwell:
| Largemouth Bass: Good, using buzzbaits and planer boards to get bait close to shore. Also try deep-running crankbaits. | |
| Striped and Hybrid Bass: Good, up the creeks with live herring and large minnows also with down-rods in deep water around river channels 15 to 30 feet deep and using umbrella rigs. | |
| Crappie: Fair, using medium minnows in about 10 feet of water. | |
| Catfish: Fair, using cut herring on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Good, using red worms around brush piles. | |

Piedmont Area
Lake Russell:
| Largemouth Bass: Fair, try deep humps with deep running crankbaits and jigging spoons. | |
| Yellow Perch: Good, fishing medium minnows deep and jigging spoons. | |
| Striped and Hybrid Bass: Fair, early morning with bucktails, cut and live herring and jigs especially when water is running below dam. White Bass: Poor, using bucktails, spinners and live bait below dam. | |
| Crappie: Good, using minnows around brush piles and bridge pilings. Also try fishing jigs along banks with cover. | |
| Catfish: Good, using cut bait and nightcrawlers on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Good, using red wigglers, pinks, crickets and nightcrawlers. |
Lake Thurmond:
| Largemouth Bass: Slow. Try using Cleos and Rapalas. | |
| Striped and Hybrid Bass: Good, using Roadrunners, Mr. Champ spoons or deep-running Rebels. | |
| Crappie: Good, around docks using jigs and minnows. | |
| Catfish: Fair, using cut bait, nightcrawlers and livers on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Fair, using crickets, worms and popping bugs. |
Lake Wylie:
| Largemouth Bass: Good, casting bass jigs and medium running crank baits. | |
| Striped and Hybrid Bass: Fair, using Spoons and Bucktails. | |
| White Bass: Good, fish are schooling in the afternoon. | |
| Crappie: Good, using small minnows and chartreuse jigs around rip-rap, docks and brush tops. | |
| Catfish: Good, using nightcrawlers on the bottom. | |
| Shellcracker: Fair, using redworms and crickets on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Good, using earthworms, redworms and crickets around the banks. |
Midlands Area
Lake Greenwood:
| Largemouth Bass: Good, jigging slow in 25 to 30 feet of water with pig and jig and crank bait. | |
| Stripers: Good, behind the dam using flukes and bombers and Good in the lake using berry spoons and live bait. Try jigging Berry Spoons in 25 to 30 feet of water. | |
| White Bass and White Perch: Good, fish are deep in 20 to 30 feet of water. Try using jigging spoons. | |
| Crappie: Fair, using minnows and mini jigs in black and chartreuse over brush in 10 to 20 feet of water. | |
| Catfish: Fair, using cut bait and worms on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Slow. Try red worms along shore and docks. |
Lake Wateree:
| Largemouth Bass: Fair, try using, pig and jig. Fish off deeper piers. | |
| Striped Bass: Fair, using live shad with down-rods in 20 to 25 feet of water. | |
| White Bass: Slow: Try shad-like baits off points. | |
| Crappie: Good, try minnows Wow grubs and slider worms tight lining in 12 to 15 feet of water mostly on the ledges. Smaller crappie have moved into shallow water, 3 to 5 feet around piers and docks. | |
| Catfish: Good, using live shad, small pieces of shrimp and cut bait close to bottom in 10 to 20 feet of water and deeper down the lake. | |
| Bream: Slow, try using worms. |
Lake Murray:
| Largemouth Bass: Fair in 1 to 8 foot of water and on the inside of the grass line on small shad rap and spinnerbaits. Also Carolina rigged and Texas rigged worms are being used. | |
| Striped Bass: Fair, around Hollow Creek using bucktails with Iceflies and jigging with spoons 8 to 25 feet deep. Watch for birds because baitfish and stripers are underneath. | |
| Crappie: Good, using jigs and small tuffies around bridge pilings and brush piles. | |
| White Perch: Good, jigging with small spoons, tuffy minnows and earthworms in 8 to 20 feet of water. | |
| Catfish: Fair, using cut herring and nightcrawlers on the bottom. | |
| Bream: Good, try fishing redworms and crickets in 10 to 20 feet of water along the grass wall. | |
| Shellcrackers: Fair, using redworms and baby night crawlers in 10 feet of water to the bottom. |
Santee Cooper System
Lake Marion:
| Largemouth Bass: Fair, using artificial worms, and bucktails fishing along the banks and points, reports of fish are also being caught in the ditch banks that are exposed due to the low water levels. | |
| Striped Bass: Good, using live shiners, herring or shad with down rods in 25 feet of water, reports of schooling near the dam. | |
| White Perch: Slow. Try jigging off the bottom with Hopkins spoons, or fishing the bottom with red worms. | |
| Crappie: Excellent. Try using small and medium minnows over deep brush piles, bridge pilings and piers, also try the ditch banks and gathering pools that are exposed due to the low water levels. Reports of limits caught in Lake Marion. | |
| Catfish: Excellent, using cut shad, mullet and bream off the bottom in deep water and on the ledges. Try fishing around the bait balls, reports of 40 pound plus are being caught. | |
| Bream and Shellcrackers: Slow. Try using redworms and crickets in 4 to 8 feet of water, also try ditch banks and gathering pools that are exposed due to the low water levels. |
Lake Moultrie:
| Largemouth Bass: Poor. Try casting spinnerbaits, plastic worms and lizards along docks and structure. | |
| Striped Bass: Fair, trolling with Stretch-25s. No one live bait fishing. Some schooling noted. | |
| Crappie: Fair, using small to medium minnows and Beetlespins around fish attraction areas and brush piles, also try in the water pooling areas, especially the ones with 6 to 8 foot of water. | |
| Catfish: Excellent, using cut herring or menhaden 25 to 50 feet deep near the bottom along dike edges. Reports of 30 pound plus are being caught where the bait fish are located, especially around Bonneau/Short Stay. | |
| Bream: Good, using crickets around fish attraction areas and crappie beds. Crickets can be kept alive in boat inside a thermos-type container. | |
| Shellcrackers: Slow. Try redworms and green worms along the banks along river runs and points. |
