IMPORTANT GAME AND FISH DEADLINES APPROACH

CHEYENNE - Hunters are alerted applications for resident/nonresident spring turkey, and nonresident elk must be received at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Cheyenne Office or submitted online by 5 p.m. Jan. 31.

Prospective nonresident elk hunters only wanting to purchase a preference point and not apply for a license in 2008 must wait and submit preference point only applications from July 1 to Sept. 30.

Landowner coupons and corresponding affidavits also need to be turned in to local game wardens or Game and Fish offices by Feb. 1.
