ASK THE WYOMING GAME & FISH Q. "I heard the chukar and Hungarian partridge season is still open. Is that right?" A. Yes, indeed. This season you cam hunt partridge - both chukars and Huns -- runs through Jan. 31, which is longer than past seasons. Wyoming's best range for both species is the Big Horn Basin. Overall, there are good numbers of chukars, but they have gotten pretty spooky. The daily limit is five for each species with a possession limit of 15 per species.
