| GET LIFETIME LICENSES BEFORE 2008 FEE
INCREASE CHEYENNE— Wyoming residents who have been thinking about purchasing lifetime licenses might not want to delay much longer before license fees increase in 2008. Beginning January 1, 2008, hunters and anglers will be paying 20 percent more for their licenses, but qualifying residents who opt to buy lifetime licenses before the New Year could realize substantial savings. Lifetime licenses for small game, game birds and fishing are available to Wyoming residents who have continuous residency in Wyoming for 10 years immediately preceding application for licenses. Lifetime conservation stamps are available to both residents and nonresidents. Savings vary depending on the type of license, but for the lifetime small game, bird, fishing and conservation stamp combo, the price will increase from $551.50 to $662.50. The same combo without the stamp will increase from $401.50 to $482. Fees for individual small game/game bird and lifetime fishing licenses will increase from $251 to $302 for each license. Lifetime conservation stamps will increase from $150.50 to $180.50. Lifetime licenses are only available through Game and Fish Headquarters in Cheyenne. Lifetime license application forms are available at Game and Fish regional offices and on the Game and Fish Web site http://gf.state.wy.us. (contact: Al Langston (307) 777-4540. -WGFD-
