CONTACT: Access Facility at Pleasant Lake, Deerfield, To Be Closed October 29 - November 23, 2007 CONCORD, N.H. --- The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department's boat access facility at Pleasant Lake in Deerfield will be closed from October 29 through November 23, 2007, as the Department completes the second phase of this construction project, involving the installation of a new boat ramp at this site. Also, parking will not be available on site during construction, because traffic will be directed around heavy equipment during construction of the boat ramp. This traffic will be redirected through the parking area, in order to maintain continued accessibility of Gulf Road. Fish and Game works in partnership with the public to conserve, manage and protect the state's fish, wildlife and marine resources and their habitats. The Department's Land Resources Bureau acquires land for public water access sites, and its Support Services Division refurbishes existing sites and builds new public access areas. - ### -
