“Best of Wisconsin State Parks – Gold Seal Awards 2007” winners announced

MADISON – Each year visitors to Wisconsin State Parks and Trails are asked to vote on their favorite park or trail feature in 10 popular categories. Votes have been compiled and the Gold Seal Awards for 2007 announced. Gold Seal awards will be presented at the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks annual meeting and banquet ceremony on Oct. 19 at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo.

The winners of the Gold Seal Awards for 2007 are:

In addition to the Gold Seals, at the Oct. 19 ceremony the statewide Friends of Wisconsin State Parks will be recognizing a DNR land manager, a local Friends group, and a Friends member with State Park Hero awards.
