All migratory bird hunters must have a HIP (Harvest Information Program) number. You must have a hunting license in order to get the free HIP number. Call 1-800-WETLAND (938-5263) to get the number. You will need to complete a voice survey of any past migratory bird hunting activities. Online license buyers can complete the HIP survey on the MassOutdoors website.
