Dove Club permits still available for two areas
Contact: Office of Licensing and Permitting (850) 488-3641

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has Dove Club permits remaining for two of its special-opportunity dove fields.

As of Aug. 17, permits are available for Schneider Farms (Escambia County) and a new public small-game hunting area (PSGHA) – Bennett Farm PSGHA (Baker County). Schneider Farms has one permit left, and Bennett Farm has 23 permits remaining.

Dove Club permits can be purchased at county tax collectors’ offices, license vendors, www.wildlifelicense.com/fl or by calling toll-free 1-888-HUNT-FLORIDA (486-8356).

Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and allow one adult and one youth (under age 16) to participate in all scheduled hunts for a designated dove field (up to eight days). These Saturday, half-day hunts cost $150 and enable both the permit holder and youth to take a daily bag limit of birds each.

For more information on these great dove-hunting opportunities, visit MyFWC.com/special/dove.
