Open House on Conner Pond (Ossipee) Public Access Site -- August 22

CONCORD, N.H. -- The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will host an "Open House" on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. and again from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ossipee Town Hall in Ossipee, N.H. The session will give the public a chance to learn about and offer their input on a proposed New Hampshire Fish and Game Department boat access project for Conner Pond in Ossipee. Fish and Game is proposing to make improvements to land it currently owns fronting Conner Pond for boaters and anglers.

The public Open House is not a formal sit-down hearing, but rather an opportunity for concerned citizens to drop by any time during the specified hours to hear about the proposal, review the conceptual plan, ask questions and provide comments.

N.H. Fish and Game will accept written comments and suggestions relative to this project, if postmarked by September 6, 2007. Submit comments to: N.H. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is the guardian of the state's fish, wildlife and marine resources and their habitats. The Department's public access projects are funded through a combination of federal Sport Fish and Wildlife Restoration program monies from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and a $5 surcharge placed on New Hampshire boating registrations.
