The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will hold a public input open house to give people an opportunity to discuss and comment on a proposed special fishing regulation for the St. Louis River Estuary. The open house will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, from 1 - 4 pm, in the DNR Office Building at French River, 5351 N. Shore Drive, Duluth, MN). A 10-day public comment period, in which the public will be able to provide written comments, will follow the open house and will terminate on October 5, 2007.

The following regulation change proposal will be open for comment: St. Louis River Estuary - increase muskellunge minimum length limit from 40 inches to 50 inches.
