ROCK - The Arkansas Forestry Association's Wildlife Committee has
scheduled two free deer management clinics scheduled for 6 p.m. on
Tuesday, August 7, in Benton, and Thursday, August 9, in El Dorado.
These workshops will feature wildlife biologists from forest industry
who will address topics like food plots, quality deer management,
hunting in a managed forest, grunt and rattle demonstration, habitat
management, and tree stand safety.
Sponsoring companies include Anderson Tully, Deltic Timber, Plum
Creek, Potlatch, Resource Management Service and TimberSTAR Southwest.
The Benton event will be at the Benton High School auditorium, 211 N.
Border St., and the El Dorado event is at the Municipal Auditorium, 100
W. 8th St. The program starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Registration
is not required.
