LIFETIME LICENSES MAKE GREAT GRADUATION GIFTS - ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR

CHEYENNE - After the luggage, computers and occasionally vehicles are unwrapped, sometimes the most lasting graduation gifts come in envelopes, such as Wyoming lifetime game bird/small game and fishing licenses and conservation stamps.

And these licenses and conservation stamps are a particular good gift choice in 2007, because their prices go up 20 percent in 2008.

Lifetime game bird/small game and lifetime fishing licenses were established by the 1996 Wyoming legislature. The licenses are available only to Wyoming residents of 10 years or more. The combination game bird/small game and fishing is $401; game bird/small game or fishing only are $251 each. The license continues to be valid if the holder moves outside of Wyoming.

Lifetime conservation stamps are $150.50 and are available to all residents and nonresidents alike. Lifetime licenses and conservation stamps are only available from the Game and Fish’s Cheyenne office. Call (800) 842-1934 or (307) 777-4600 out of state for more info
