JACKSON - The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries,
and Parks is reaching out to the youth in the state to promote learning and
the outdoors.
The interactive site is secure, monitored daily by the Kidsclub administrator and staff. The site is currently up and kids ages 9-12 are encouraged to register. "The outdoors is the best learning resource that is always readily available," said Amanda Mills, Special Projects Executive for the MDWFP. "It's our goal to devote our energy and efforts to promoting outdoors education to the children of Mississippi. The Web site was created to connect children with the outdoors."
