Boat Ramp at McGinnis Pond Reopens Following Construction

The boat ramp at McGinnis Pond near Magnolia has reopened, the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife announced today. The ramp closed at the beginning of March so it and the surrounding bulkhead could be rebuilt.

The new ramp is wider and extends further down into the pond to accommodate today’s typical pond-sized boats and make it easier for boaters to float them off their trailers. The pond’s water level, which was temporarily lowered during construction, has been restored to its normal height.

For more information about the project, please call Fisheries at 302-739-9914.
