CONCORD, N.H. -- Ice-anglers who fish on Pleasant Lake in Deerfield should take note that the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department access facility at this waterbody will be closed from March 19-31, 2007, because of pre-construction maintenance involving tree cutting. The existing parking facility off Gulf Road in Deerfield, which is used by ice-anglers, will be closed during this period. Fish and Game works in partnership with the public to conserve, manage and protect the state's fish, wildlife and marine resources and their habitats. The Department's Land Resources Bureau acquires land for public water access sites, and its Support Services Division refurbishes existing sites and builds new public access areas. - ### -
