CONCORD, N.H. -- Take advantage of a new
series of free evening talks - all about fishing - this spring at New
Hampshire Fish and Game Department headquarters in Concord. Programs
begin at 7 p.m. The series includes:
 | March 15, 2007 -- Introduction to Angling,
featuring Let's Go Fishing Coordinator Karina Jolles. Learn the basic
skills and equipment to get started with the fun of fishing, just in
time for spring angling! |
 | April 5, 2007 -- Downriggers and Trolling,
with N.H. fishing guide Adrien Lavoie and Travis Williams. A great
chance to find out about the equipment and techniques to help you
catch salmon all summer long. |
 | May 3, 2007 -- Panfishing, with Fisheries
Biologist John Viar. Fishing for yellow and white perch, black crappie
and bluegill is challenging and fun for anglers of all ages. Viar will
discuss the life history, fishing techniques, tackle and where to
catch those "big" little fish we call "panfish." |
