Free Evening Fishing Talks Offered in Concord

CONCORD, N.H. -- Take advantage of a new series of free evening talks - all about fishing - this spring at New Hampshire Fish and Game Department headquarters in Concord. Programs begin at 7 p.m. The series includes:

bulletMarch 15, 2007 -- Introduction to Angling, featuring Let's Go Fishing Coordinator Karina Jolles. Learn the basic skills and equipment to get started with the fun of fishing, just in time for spring angling!
bulletApril 5, 2007 -- Downriggers and Trolling, with N.H. fishing guide Adrien Lavoie and Travis Williams. A great chance to find out about the equipment and techniques to help you catch salmon all summer long.
bulletMay 3, 2007 -- Panfishing, with Fisheries Biologist John Viar. Fishing for yellow and white perch, black crappie and bluegill is challenging and fun for anglers of all ages. Viar will discuss the life history, fishing techniques, tackle and where to catch those "big" little fish we call "panfish."

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is the guardian of the state's fish, wildlife and marine resources and their habitats.
