Visit S.D. State Parks’ Sports Show Booth Feb. 24-25 in Pierre

PIERRE, S.D. – It’s time to gear up for camping and day trips to South Dakota State Parks this summer and the division of parks and recreation is here to help. South Dakota State Park representatives will be available to answer questions and handout the latest publications on South Dakota State Parks at the KCCR’s 35^th Annual Farm, Home and Sports Show Feb. 24-25 in Pierre.

"We are excited to share information about all the state parks and recreation areas across South Dakota," said Elizabeth Ruen, public information officer. "Sports shows provide excellent opportunities for state park representatives to share with the public all of the recreational activities available in state parks year round.”

Many free publications, such as the 2007 Park Times, the Tatanka and many other outdoor recreation publications will be available. In addition, annual park entrance licenses and Mickelson Trail passes will be available for purchase.
