Feb. 24 Trapper Education Class Planned for Missoula
The Montana Trappers Association will conduct a free trapper education
class in Missoula, Saturday, Feb. 24, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) regional office, 3201 Spurgin Rd.
The class will include furbearer identification, regulations, safety,
ethics, trapping techniques, equipment, demonstrations and fur handling.
Class participants will receive a certificate of completion, the National
Trappers Association trapping handbook, workbook and other informational
material. The class is open to the public, and an adult must accompany
those under the age of 10. Students should bring lunch, a pen and pad of
