12/12/2006Beaver Trapping Permits AvailableDecember 12, 2006 The lottery for the 2006-07 Beaver and Otter Trapping Seasons has just been completed. There are leftover Beaver Permits only - all Otter Permits were awarded through the lottery. The leftover permits will become available for purchase on a first-come first-serve basis beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006. You must have a 2006 Trapping License to purchase a Beaver Permit. Permits cost $17.00 are zone specific and are non-transferable. Permits will be made available at any license agent using the Integrated Electronic Licensing System (IELS) and over the Internet at the Division's license Web site (if a record of a previous Trapping License or Trapper Hunter Education is in your customer record). Please note that Internet sales have a minor surcharge for shipping and handling. Leftover Beaver Permits are as follows:
