2007 WYOMING WILDLIFE CALENDAR AVAILABLE

CHEYENNE - Bring the beauty of Wyoming’s wild creatures indoors in 2007 with the Wyoming Wildlife calendar.

From January’s Canada goose to December’s lone bighorn sheep waxwing, the award-winning calendar features some of the best work of Mark Gocke, widely published and acclaimed Jackson photographer and Wyoming Game and Fish Department information specialist.

In addition to Gocke’s photos, Ty Stockon, Wyoming Wildlife associate editor, prefaces the calendar with a perspective of the social demands of wildlife versus humans. Stockton also injects an engaging narrative for each month’s species.

The calendar is available for $9.95 at the Game and Fish Cheyenne office and various newsstands. Customers get the same price and free shipping and handling through the Game and Fish Web site at http://gf.state.wy.us, plus Internet shoppers can buy two calendars and get one free. Calendars can also be ordered by phone at (800) 548-9453, but customers will be charged an extra $5 shipping and handling per calendar.

In addition, persons can receive one 2007 calendar free by ordering gift subscriptions to Wyoming Wildlife magazine for friends and relatives at (800) 710-8345.

The Wyoming Wildlife calendar was honored as the nation’s best wildlife agency calendar in 2005 and second best in 2006 and 2004 by the Association of Conservation Information and is produced by Editorial Assistant Judith Hosafros.
