Paperwork needed for transferring
game
|
LITTLE
ROCK – If you bag some ducks that you don’t want, just give them to
someone who does. But be sure the paperwork goes along with the birds.
It’s required under Arkansas Game and Fish Commission regulations. And
it’s fairly simple. The rule applies to giving any game or any fish to
another person.
Forms can be clipped from any of the AGFC hunting or fishing guidebooks,
and copies can be made for multiple or future use. The forms can be
written out also as long as all the required information is included.
This info is:
1. The hunter’s or fisherman’s name, his or her hunting license number
or driver’s license number. For a hunter under 16, a hunter education
card number or date of birth is allowed.
2. The recipient’s name.
3. Description of the game being transferred and number of bird, animals
or fish. Example: “3 mallards, 1 wood duck.”
4. Date the game was taken.
5. Date of the transfer.
6. Signature of the giver.
7. Address of the giver.
8. If it is big game (deer, bear, turkey), the check station number is
required. |
