Lake Shore Water Advisory Near Mouth of Lewis Creek Lifted


WATERBURY, VT -- The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department announces that temporary water use restrictions associated with Lake Champlain sea lamprey control activities will be lifted effective noon Monday, October 9th, for lake water users near the mouth of Lewis Creek, from the south shore of Thompson's Point in the town of Charlotte, south to Porter Bay, in the town of Ferrisburgh.

Monitoring indicates that TFM, has dissipated in the Lake and that normal uses may be resumed. The water use advisory on Lewis Creek from the falls in North Ferrisburgh downstream to the creek mouth was discontinued Friday, October 6th.
