Enjoy games, crafts, contest voting and fellowship
at various evening events celebrating fall at Ouabache State Park’s
Fall Festival Fair, Oct. 28.
The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. when those wishing to participate in
the pumpkin- decorating contest can drop off their pumpkins at the
Campview shelter house, located in the center of Campground A. All
other materials for the contest will be provided.
Hayrides around the campground start at 7 p.m. Signs will direct
visitors to the pick-up location for the rides. Fair activities
start at 8 p.m.
Anyone interested in the outdoors and fellowship is welcome. An
adult should accompany children under 10.
Anyone wishing to donate prizes or volunteer to help with games
and crafts should call the park office or e-mail the interpretive
naturalist at the contacts listed below.
Parking is available across from the campground or at the
campground lot. All events will take place at the Campview shelter
house.
Normal park gate admission gate fees of $5 per in-state vehicle
and $7 per out-of-state vehicle will apply.
