2006 Ruffed Grouse Season Dates:
 | Northern Zone (A): Sept. 16–Dec. 31. |
| Western Zone (B): Sept. 16–Jan. 31, 2007 |
| Eastern Zone (C): Oct. 14–Dec. 8. |
Grouse hunters should also note that during any gun or muzzleloader deer
season, including the Oct. 7-8 Youth Deer Hunt, antlerless hunts and CWD
hunts (see 2006 Wisconsin Deer Hunting Regulations), they cannot hunt ruffed
grouse unless at least 50 percent of their outer clothing above the waist is
colored blaze orange. A hat, if worn, must be at least 50 percent blaze
orange.
