Bids Now Being Accepted for Trapping Privileges on Select Wildlife Management Areas

DNR’s Wildlife and Heritage Service announced today that bids are currently being accepted for trapping privileges on selected parcels of land within the following Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) for the 2006–2007 trapping season: LeCompte, Linkwood, Fishing Bay and Taylor’s Island in Dorchester County as well as Idylwild in Caroline County. The closing date for submitting a bid is Friday, October 27, at 12 p.m. The bids will be opened and awarded on October 27, at 1 p.m. To receive a bid package or to receive more information, please contact the LeCompte office at 410-376-3236.
