Frankfort, Ky. – Archery hunters harvest both white-tailed deer and timely advice on venison processing from a familiar expert this weekend, September 23 and 24 on “Kentucky Afield” TV. Sim Harp of Scott County returns to “Kentucky Afield” to show why Kentucky deer hunting is “top choice”. Harp is remembered for his easy-to-follow deer processing tips for the family dinner table and freezer. TiVo users, take note. Host Tim Farmer joins Harp on the hunt and afterwards at his home to observe the boning procedure for choice cuts of roasts, steaks, ribs, chops, and more guaranteed to whet your appetite. “Kentucky Afield” is a production of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.
