That input will be reviewed and considered by the department planning team putting the plan together. Come to an open house. There are six meetings

These episodes will include a segment about the purpose and responsibilities of KDFWR and its specific plan to build “A Better Future for Kentucky’s Wildlife” Persons can see and hear the types of services and programs in which KDFWR is involved, and get a closer look at the issues confronting Kentucky’s fish and wildlife resources. Check out the KDFWR website (www.fw.ky.gov). It will soon include highlights about the strategic plan and additional ways to get involved in this process. Anyone logging onto this site will have an opportunity to help identify the most important issues and measures of success with regards to habitat, fish and wildlife populations, outdoor recreations issues, funding and partnerships. There will also be a method for providing public input into draft components of the strategic plan and information about staying abreast of progress throughout the process. Please take time to review the information and provide comments about the plan. -30-
