DFG October Trout Plants for Central Coast Region

The Department of Fish and Game (DFG) will restock the following lakes, reservoirs and ponds in October with catchable-size trout from DFG hatcheries. The waterways are listed by county.

Oct. 2-6:          LAKE – Upper Blue Lake
                        SAN FRANCISCO – Merced Lake, North
                        MARIN – Bon Tempe Lake
                        MARIN – Lagunitas Lake
                        SAN BENITO – San Justo Reservoir
                                                           
Oct. 9-13:        ALAMEDA – Chabot Reservoir
                        ALAMEDA – Shadow Cliff Lake
                        CONTRA COSTA – Lafayette Reservoir
                        SONOMA – Ralphine Lake

Oct. 16-20:      ALAMEDA – Shadow Cliff Lake
                        ALAMEDA – Del Valle Reservoir
                        MARIN – Bon Tempe Lake
                        SAN FRANCISCO – Merced Lake, North

Oct. 23-27:      ALAMEDA – Chabot Reservoir
                        ALAMEDA – Del Valle Reservoir
                        CONTRA COSTA – Lafayette Reservoir

Open date:       LAKE COUNTY – Indian Valley Reservoir                            

Dates that are more specific are not given so that fishing activity will not be focused right after the time of the plant. Occasionally, operational problems may cause alteration of the schedule.
