Fall camping weekend at Turkey Run State Park, Sept. 22-24

Come enjoy family fun at Turkey Run during fall camping weekend, Sept. 22-24.

A look at owls and owl-calling kicks off the event Friday evening. Saturday activities include a scavenger hunt hike, face painting, live snakes, games and crafts. A Dutch oven cooking demonstration (and tasting), hayrides and an old-fashioned campfire program round out the day.

On Sunday, meet Smokey Bear and get some Smokey goodies, dip a candle to take back home, and enjoy a star program in the park's planetarium.
