| iThe “Becoming an Outdoors-Woman,
California” organization has scheduled its popular multi-course workshop
for Oct. 20-22 at Wonder Valley Ranch. The workshop will be nestled in
the foothills on 75 acres shaded by groves of mature oaks and sycamores
about 45 minutes east of Fresno.
The workshop offers hands-on instruction in fly fishing, fly tying,
bait fishing, map and compass reading, outdoor/Dutch oven cooking,
personal self defense, shotgun shooting, archery, knot tying,
backpacking, kayaking, and more.
Workshop instructors are top-notch and include professional
biologists, hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts who have
experience in instructing women.
The scenic drive to Wonder Valley Ranch through the Sierra Nevada
