State park celebrates 'Hayes Days' on Sept. 3

Summer is almost over, and with it comes the end of another busy camping season at Hayes Lake State Park. To celebrate the end of the season, Hayes Lake State Park Manager Nick Hoffman invites the public to join him in celebrating 'Hayes Days' on Sept. 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Wannaska Lions Club will provide free ice cream (while supplies last) near the beach. There will also be free refreshment available at the contact station. Presentations from Forestry, Parks and Enforcement will be held throughout the afternoon.
