AGFC solicits public comments for 2007 spring turkey season |

ROCK – Turkey hunters will get to voice their opinions about the 2007
Arkansas spring turkey hunting regulations and seasons at one of 11
public meetings around the state Tuesday, Aug. 29.These meetings are part of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s turkey hunting regulation-setting process. The meetings are being held to give hunters and other interested parties the opportunity to make comments and proposals on the 2007 spring turkey hunting seasons. The meetings will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A detailed review and explanation regarding the current and anticipated future status of turkeys in Arkansas will be presented at each of the 11 public meetings. Comments may be either verbal or written. Written comments may be submitted at one of the meetings or mailed to the AGFC, attn: Spring Turkey Hunting Regulations Proposals, 2 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72205. They may be emailed to information@agfc.state.ar.us. Comments need to be received no later than Sept. 29.
