The public is invited to attend Bill Houk’s Leave
No Trace workshop Aug. 5, 7:30 p.m. at Ouabache State Park’s Rustic
Oak Shelter.
Games, demonstrations, hands-on activities and the 7 Leave No
Trace principles will be included in the workshop. Scouting groups,
hikers, campers and nature enthusiasts of all skill levels
interested in minimizing human impact on the land are encouraged to
attend.
The gate fee is $4 per in-state vehicle Monday through Thursday
and $5 Friday through Sunday and Holidays ($7 per out-of-state
vehicle daily).
