Public Invited to
Participate in Lower Western Shore Wade-In
Free Event at Chesapeake Bay
Foundation Beach in Annapolis Thursday
In 1997 retired State Senator Bernie Fowler challenged Maryland’s
Tributary Teams to use the Sneaker Index to visually assess water quality.
Since exciting, family-oriented events have taken place across Maryland
each summer, featuring exhibits and activities to educate and engage
participants in topics pertaining to their local watershed. The public and
members of the media are encouraged to attend the Tributary Strategy
Program Lower Western Shore Wade In on Thursday, June 15 from 5 to 7p.m,
at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation Beach in Annapolis. Free rain or shine.
