ASK THE GAME & FISH

Q.  "Is it legal to help another person catch his or her limit of fish as longa as the limit is not exceeded?"

A.  No it is not.  Wyoming regulation stipulates that it is unlawful to take game fish for another person.  The practice of taking fish or game for another person is often referred to as party hunting or fishing. Regardless of the species of game bird, game animal or game fish, Wyoming law requires that individuals catch their own fish or bag their own game.
