Construction Continues at Killens Pond State Park Through Memorial Day Weekend

Construction in preparation for a new nature center at Killens Pond State Park will continue through Memorial Day weekend.

The main parking lot is tentatively scheduled to open by Saturday, June 3. Alternative parking will be offered at the Water Park overflow parking lots. Parking in the main picnic areas will be limited and available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors using the main picnic areas must be able to walk in from the Water Park overflow parking and carry their supplies.

Boat rental is also scheduled to open June 3. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays to Sundays and all holidays. Please contact the Park Office to inquire about possible hours Monday through Wednesday.
