5/22/2006 CHEYENNE - It’s like the grocery store concept of handing out free samples: Get the customer to try one with the hope of buying the product and using it for a lifetime. Potential and returning anglers can experience that very healthy sample June 3 with Wyoming’s fourth free fishing day. Anyone - resident or nonresident - can fish that day in most of Wyoming without a license. Anglers will still be subject to all other fishing laws and regulations. Fishing licenses are still required in Yellowstone National Park and the Wind River Indian Reservation on June 3. "The free day is a great way to get acquainted or reacquainted with fishing," said Janet Milek, Game and Fish Department aquatic education specialist. She adds the date coincides with the start of National Fishing and Boating Week and will be celebrated with many local events across the state.
