Lake Wilhelmina access to be improved by AGFC
MENA - An access area and road leading to it will be built on Lake Wilhelmina in western Polk County by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

The project includes building a boat launching ramp, parking area and the road leading to them. The site is reached off Arkansas Highway 8 west of Mena.

The half-mile road and parking lot projects will cost the AGFC about $50,000, with the money coming from Marine Fuel Tax funds, which are state taxes paid on fuel used in boats.
