12th Annual Bluegrass Festival at North Bend State Park May 12-14
Cairo, W.Va. - North Bend State Park will feature a weekend of pickin' and singin' at the 12 th Annual Bluegrass Festival on May 12-14, 2006.
“We have an exciting lineup of bluegrass musicians for throughout the weekend,” says Jennifer Cogar, North Bend State Park activities coordinator. “This event will offer such talents as Grammy nominated Ralph Stanley II; the Hillbilly Gypsies with their homegrown style of Appalachian old-time music and hard drivin' bluegrass sound; one of our local favorites, the East Run Band; award-winning songwriters Connie and Dave Park and the talented Connie Townsend in Connie Townsend and the Gin Sangers; and many more.”
Tickets are $15 for Friday only, $15 for Saturday only, $5 for Sunday only and $25 for three-day tickets purchased before May 7 or $35 for three-day tickets purchased after May 7, 2006 .
