ASK THE GAME & FISH

Q. " Do I need to license my canoe if I use it with a motor?"

A. All boats or watercraft that are powered by propulsion machinery of any type must be registered. This means if you use any kind of motor, electric or internal combustion, your craft must be registered. This also applies to rubber rafts and float tubes with motors.
