Frost Point Access on Bull Shoals to be built

BULL SHOALS - An access area and road will be built at Frost Point on Bull Shoals Lake in Marion County. The work will be by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Stone County’s road crews.

The project includes a boat-launching ramp and a road from the Midway community to the lake. The gravel road will be finished with double seal. It will give fishermen and other visitors to the lake an access on the lake’s west side between the town of Bull Shoals and Oakland, both on the east side.

The two-and-a-half-mile project will cost the AGFC about $110,000, with the money coming from Marine Fuel Tax funds, which are state taxes paid on fuel used in boats.
