Spring Turkey Season Busy for Natural Resources Police

NRP assigned to Washington County have charged the following individuals for violations during the first two weeks of Spring Turkey Season:

bulletRobert W. Bowlus, 42, of Boonsboro, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait;
bulletHoward A. Chaney, Jr., 45, of Falling Waters, WV, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait;
bulletWarren A. Churchey, 44, of Falling Waters, WV, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait;
bulletWilliam Curtis Cline, 41, Williamsport, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait and improper shot size;
bulletJames E. Clopper, 58, of Smithsburg, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait;
bulletMichael S. Currin, 44, of Sharpsburg, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait;
bulletWalter S. Krasowski, 60, of Hagerstown, charged with hunting turkey with a rifle and with the aid of electronic calls;
bulletHoward D. Mumma, Jr., 35, of Hagerstown, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait; and
bulletAllen Lee Rhodes, 40, of Sharpsburg, charged with hunting turkey with the aid of bait.

In addition, three juveniles have been referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice for hunting turkeys with the aid of bait and charges.
