Frankfort, KY - It's rabbit hunting with a twist this weekend on "Kentucky Afield" television. Join Host Tim Farmer as he hunts for rabbits in Grayson County using a red-tailed hawk. It's a different style of hunting that you won't want to miss.

Watch "Kentucky Afield" this weekend for one of its most popular early season fishing shows. Learn how to catch big bass the old-fashioned way, with a jigging pole. This seldom-practiced method is a great way to catch big fish in February and March.

The show concludes with the weekly fishing report.
"Kentucky Afield," a production of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, is the longest continuously running outdoor television show in the nation. "Kentucky Afield" airs Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time/7:30 p.m. Central time on KET affiliates. The airtime for the Sunday repeat of the show is 4 p.m. Eastern/3 p.m. Central.

"Kentucky Afield" television is a companion program to Kentucky Afield magazine. To view program schedules or to subscribe to Kentucky Afield magazine, visit fw.ky.gov  on the Internet.
