2/7/06 HUNTER SAFETY COURSE OFFERED IN WASHINGTON COUNTY
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is offering a free three-day hunter safety course in Washington County. The course will be taught at the Wausau Town Hall, 1607 Second Ave. from 6-9 p.m. Feb. 17 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 18. The firing range section of the course is scheduled for Feb. 19. The hunter safety course is required for anyone born on or after June 1, 1975 to purchase a hunting license. The FWC course satisfies hunter safety training requirements for all other states and Canadian provinces. Persons interested in attending this course can register on-line and obtain information about future hunter safety classes at MyFWC.com/huntered or by calling FWC's regional office in Panama City at (850) 265-3676.
