ROSEBURG – The Rogue River Spring Chinook Conservation Plan Advisory
Committee announced a Jan. 25 meeting at ODFW’s Central Point
office.
The committee will meet from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. to continue its
work on management strategies to address wild spring chinook. The
public is invited to attend. The ODFW Central Point office is
located at 1495 East Gregory Road.
The group will discuss Sport Fishing Regulations relevant to wild
spring chinook salmon, and will begin the development of the
“Conservation Status” element of the plan.
The advisory committee, which includes representatives from
various interest groups and state and federal agencies, is helping
the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife develop a plan to
conserve wild Rogue River spring chinook.
