MOOSE, SHEEP AND MOUNTAIN GOAT DEADLINE FEB. 28; APPLICATION LISTS WRONG DATE

CHEYENNE – Resident hunters are alerted their moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat license and preference point applications must be received at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Cheyenne Office by 5 p.m. Feb. 28.

                The application in the 2006 resident big game booklet incorrectly lists Feb. 29 as the deadline for the species. Since 2006 in not a leap year, there is no Feb. 29 on the calendar, so Feb. 28 is the application deadline.

The Game and Fish apologizes for any confusion or inconvenience this printing error may cause.
